Coultes. The president, Cecil Wheeler had charge: The main business of the ineting,Was snaking arrangenetta for the Annual Convention to be heldtin Toronto in December. The .following delegates were appointed: Mrs. J. ivl, Coultes, Mrs.. C. R. Coultes; Cecil Wheeler, Harold Proca ter to attend this rneeting. A splendid time was enjoyed Fri- day night in the Forester's Hall, when a euchre and dance was spon- sored by the Foresters. Cauls were played from 9-11, the ladys prize was won by Mrs. Jesse Wheeler and her husband was successful in capturing the first prize for the men. Lunch was served and dancing followed with the music furnished by Kirkby's or- chestra. Mr. Sarre Morton is under the Doc- tor's care at present. We wish him early improvement. Miss Eleanor Snyder of (Kincardine was a visitor with her friend, Sara Cole. Institute' Held November Meeting The Belgrave Branch of the,Worn en's Institute was held at the home of Mrs. Jas. Taylor on Tuesday af- ternoon last week, with a splendid attendance of ladies present. Mrs, Keating the President, was in charge of the meeting which was opened with the singing of the Ode and all repeating the Lord's Prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were adopted and the Treasurer's re- port received.,; Several items of business were dis- cussed and it was also decided to give a donation to the help of the Blind in Huron County. The roll -call was responded to with "Don'ts for the sick room. Shiell gave a geographical talk on Africa. With a map she discussed • the boundaries, size, rivers, lakes, des- erts, mountains, climate, people and their habits. Mrs. Alex. Leaver, Mrs. John Mason and Mrs. Stanley Snell read the study leaflets, these further discussing the continent. The meeting was brought to a close by the bene- diction. H. T.
