Philips, Mrs. Ezekiel k hillips, of Auburn,
quietly. observed the fortieth anniver

sar y of their wedding. On account of
the death of John H. Medd, brother of
Mfrs. Philips, recently, there was no
celebration, but many friends called.
Mrs. Philips, nee Margaret Ellen
Medd, the daughter of Robert and El-
len Medd, has lived all her life within
a radius of 35 miles of Auburn, tee-
ing been born on the farm occupied
by the late John Medd, lot 25, con.
2, West Waivanosh township, about 2
miles from Auburn. She attended No.
3 school. Her parents came from
Farndale, Yorkshire. England.
