Richard, of Caledon, spent the week-
end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Falconer, who returned with
them to spend the next few weeks at
Caledon.

The annual Social function under
the auspices of the local L. 0. L.
was enjoyed on Thursday evening in
the school room of the United Church
when about seventy orangemen and
friends sat down to an oyster supper.
Following the supper Will Peacock
as chairman introduced the program
with all singing "0 Canada.”
The special speaker of the evening
Mr. Robert Shaw; spoke on, "Our
Country and Orangism, Several
members were called upon to give
impromptu speeches, among these be-
ing Mr. Thomas Stewart who stated
that', he had been a member,; of the
Orange Order for sixty three years,
Vocal numbers were rendered by
Miss Alice 'Thornton, Ross Smith
and Rev. A. V. Robb, and Miss Don-
na Smith and Miss Isobel Watson,
pleased 111 present with a piano duet.
All joined in community singing and
the National. Anthem, bringing to a
close . a delightftilly pleasant evening.
Russel McKinney of Toronto was
the week -end visitor with his cousins

of the quilt tops were displayed and
proved to be very pretty. Arrange-
