Mrs. Alice Slater, one of our most
beloved ladies, celebrated her 78th
birthday' on Friday, July 20th, and
was at home to her numerous friends,
among those from a distance who
were in attendance were: her neice,
Miss Lily Carr, of Calgary, arid Mr.
and Ibbs, C. H. Beese of Kitchener.
The concert on Monday evening put
on by the Henderson Cowboys of
Loudon, was well patronized and pro-
vided excellent music for the dance
held` after the concert.
Mr. and Mrs, John Campbell of
A.lymer, are spending, part of their
holidays with the latter's another, Mrs,
Pheobe Taylor.
