Between fifty and sixty Young
People gathered at the Parsonage fol-
lowing the evening service. After
singing a few hymns and negro spir-
ituals around the fireside, Miss Ev-
elyn Dane, the Vice President of Hur-
on Presbytery Young People's, intro-
duced Mr, Aubrey Oldham, who spoke
in detail upon the Local Young Peo-
ple's work gender the four departments
of Christian Fellowship, Christian
Missions, Christian Citizenship and
Christian Recreation. This type of
work has proved the most permanent
and. helpful for both city and rural
young people. Mr. Oldham proved an
able leader of song at this gathering.
Expressions of appreciation were
given to Mr. Oldham, Rev. and Mrs,
Butt, after which a lunch was served.
The Young People's work is bound
to forge ahead after such inspiring
gatherings as those of Sunday.
