BLUEVALE Woman's Association to Make, Quilts The regular, monthly meeting of the Woman's Association of the Un- ited Church was held on Thursday af- ternoon at the hchne of Mrs, Arthur McGee with Mrs. Ed. Johnston in charge. After an opening hymn and, Scripture reading Mrs. George Thorn- ton led in prayer. Twenty-six mem- bers and three visitors answered to the Roll Call. Business consisted of making plans for quilting and also to do some decorating at the parsonage. At the close of the ,meetinglunch was served by Mrs. C. Hetherington and Mrs. S. N. - Gallaher along with the hostess, Ladies' Aid to Decorate :Manse Interior. The Ladies' Aid of Knox Presby- terian Church met on Thursday af- 1 ternoon at the home of the President, .Mrs. Alex. Mowbray. The meeting opened by singing a hymn and pray- er by Mrs, D. J,, Falconer, Arrange- ments were made for decorating the interior of the manse.
