Bird Electrocuted
At a most inopportune time a little
bird sat on the hydro electric wires
here, sitting in such a position that
it caused a short `circuit and poor
birdie 'was killed, being burnt to
death. But then, this was not all the
damage 4one, for it disconnected;the
power on the one transformer and it
happened to be just at.the finish of
the ladies' marathon 'swim at the C.
N. E., in Toronto on Friday and
