Another pioneer of this district has passed on to his reward in the person of John Hutton, of Beluevaie, whose death occurred 'at his home on Tues- day, August 8th. Up until this spring despite his advanced years, Mr. Hut- ton had been enjoying fairhealth but since that time has been feeling poor - ly. A week ago he was confined to his bed and gradually became weak- • - er until .death brought relief, Bora in 1848 at Bannockburn, Scotland, he came to Canada as a child of seven with his parents, who settled at. God - erich. Five years later theY, moved to the 10th of Turnberry, where ' he resided until 1908. From then until 1922 he was a Missionary for the Presbyterian Church in the Rainy distaict, He then retired to Blue-. vale where he has since resided, ,,As a niember Of the Presbyterian Church he always took an active part in the work Of the church.
