Miss Duff, Toronto, Field See'y, of
the W.C.T.U. addressed the ladies of
the Presbyterian Church on Thurs-
day afternoon, immediately following
their church meetings. Miss Duff in
her very splendid temperance address
.outlined the work of the W:C.T.U.
and the need for action against the.
liquor traffic. Miss Duff has been en-,
gaged in this work for ten years and
has a thorough knowledge of the
work. Several ladies identified them-
selves as wishing to become mem-
bers of this most worthy organiza-
tion. A meeting will be called in the
near future when all the women .of
the community will be invited to at-
tend and the Union properly organ-
ized.
