Mr. Billie Lott, of Wingham, spent,
the .week -end at .the home of his un-
cle Mr, Walter Lott,
Mr. Clarence McClenaghan was
laid up last week suffering from a
sprained ankle.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Coulter and Pat
of Zetland, spent Sunday at the home
of her father, Mr. Joe Laidlaw.
Mr. Robert Ferrie is very low at
present and little hope is held for
his recovery.

The regular meeting of the W.M.S.W
of the United, Church was held last
Wednesday, with the President, Mrs,
J Gillespie G. illes ie in the chair. After the
opening exercises, Mrs. Thos. Gaunt
and Mrs. Mac Rross read from the
study book. Miss Lettie Fox sang
"Take Time to be Holy," and Mrs.
Morrison and Mrs. Fox led in oray-
er. The ladies of the W.M.S. are re-
quested to spend the first five min-
utes of all the regular meetings in
prayer.

of Teeswater, who is a brother-in-
