gone an -emergency operation for ap-
pendicitis in England. Sgt. MacLean,
who has served as a member of the
First Canadian -American Special Ser-
vice Force, since landing in Africa in
October, 1943, has seen action In Italy
and France and of late has been post-
ed as an instructor in England.
Miss Amy Llannnie of .' London
spent the weekend with her mother

Mrs. Carter of London spent the
