Moore is grand daughter of Mrs. W. J. Nett and the late 'Carson Moore formerly of ICippen. She is known to several in Bgmmtdviile and vicinity having visited here several times, The United Church, Bruce Mines, was the Beene of a beautiful hue summer wedding, on Tuesday, Sept 12th, at one o'clock, when Dorothy M. Moore, only daughter of Sgt, and Mrs, P. Moore, Bruce lidines, became the bride of Kenneth C. MacKenzie son of Mr, and Mrs. Kenneth MacKenzie, Plummer. The church had been beautifully decorated, alta; platform being banked with baskets of gladioli, asters and other late summer flowers. Pink and white streamers were at- tached from the railing to pulpit and tiny white wedding bells found a nestling place down from the front of the pulpit. The bride was radiantly lovely in a floor length gown of white satin with embroidered bodice, long torso style with sweetheart neck- line, Her fingertip veil was caught up at each side by it chaster of white flowers. Rickaby. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean. Nicholson, was charmingly gowned in a floor length gown of flowered taffeta with white background. The tight- fitting bodice woo daintily shirred at the high- neckline anddown to the waist. Her blue veil wascaught up at each side with clusters of pale pink flowers. She carried u shower bouquet of sweetheart roses and maid- en hair fern. The best man was Mr, Ronald MacKenzie, brother of the groom. During the signing- of the register, Miss H. .Rickaby sang "Because." The ushers were Mae MacKenzie and Carl.' Moore, Following the ceremony, which was per- formed by Rev. 7. Dudgeon, the wedding Party enjoyed a sumptuous repast at the Bay View Hotel. Mrs, Moore, mother of the bride, chose for the occasion a delightful two-piece suit of aqua wool crepe, with purple accessor- ies and wore a corsage of Briar Hill roses. Mrs. MacKenzie, motherof the groom was becomingly gowned In a frock of royal blue Crepe with black accessories and wore a cor- sage of American Beauty roses. Mrs. Camer- on, grandmother of the bride, wore a corsage of deep rose sweet peas. Covers were laid for 15 guests and the head table was centred by a three tier wedding cake, topped with a min- iature bride and groom. After the usualfelic- itations to the happy couple the group took Pictures and the wedding party left for the Sault to have the bridal pictures taken. Dorothy,the bride also requested her bou- n gnat be divided between her Hunt in Hamilton Snnitorium and grandmother Mrs. W. .7. Nott, Seaforth.
