freshments were served by the hostess.

Friday from the home of the deceased's bro-
ther, John Bell.
Rev. Joseph E, Taylor of. Carmel Presby-
terian Church conducted the funeral service.
The pallbearers were Messrs. R. D. Bell, 'Wm.
G. Bell, lam, Bell, Dr. Jas. Bell, Andrew
Bell and Sid McArthur. Interment was in
Hensall Union cemetery.
Child Dies While Cout'hing-
A shadow o£ gloom 70111 cast over the
community on Tuesday morning upon hear-
ing of the death of Phyllis, one -yea' -old
daughter of. Gonna -Byron Kyle and Mrs.
Kyle. The child had been 111 for a number
of weeks with whooping cough and choked
while in. 0 coughing spasm. Surviving are
the pa'ents and one brother Donald. The

DUBLIN
Sister M. Janet, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David McConnell of Dublin,
was one of the group of seven Sis-
ters who, on 'Friday, June 3015, took
final religious vows in Hawaii, where
she has been stationed for some
time. On the same day 17 sisters took
final vows at the Motherhouse, Mary -
knoll, N.Y., conducted by, the Foreign
Mission Sisters of St. Dominic. Sister
M. Janet was the only native of Can-
ada in the large group taking final
vows and first vows.
