A large crowd attended the unveil-
ing service in Burn's United Church
on Sunday morning, May 21st. The
church was beautifully decorated
with red, white and blue streamers,
flags, maple leaves and spring
flowers. Rev. A. E. Menzies, pastor
of the church had charge of the ser-
vice, assisted by Flying Officer
Lodge, of Port Albert Navigation
School. The Honour Roll was un-
veiled by Mr. Leo Watt, a veteran of
World War I and a member of . the
church session, Eleven names are on
the Honour Roll of the young men'
who have left our church and com-
munity to serve King and Country,
Namely: Robert M. Smith; E. Leslie
Beattie; Lawrence R. Taylor; Reith
L. Hesseiwood; Alex A. Riley; Wm.
L. Taylor; Edward F. Bell; Wm.
Leiper; Robert Leiper; Glen A,
Carter; Robert G. Pollard, After the
dedication service, Flying Officer ,
Lodge addressed the congregation. '
He spoke on prayer and stressed the ,
need of prayer during these days ofd
war. During the service the choir ;
rendered two very suitable Anthems
for the occasion. The choir also sang'
"God Bless our Boys." at the close
or the service, The boys names were
written on the Honour Iloll by Mr.
