On Thursday afternoon Sept, 25,
prior to her departure from her resi-
dence on the fifth concession of Mc-
Killop, a number of friends and
neighbors met at the home of Miss
Nellie Evans to spend a few social
hours and for the purpose of pre-
senting her with a gift as a re-
minder of the happy days spent
among them and to show the respect
and goodwill held for her in the
community. The address was read by
Mrs. Moylan, the presentation was
made by Mrs. Shea. The following.
is the address. Dear Nellie—We, a
few of your friends and neighbors
