Mr. Charles Forrest left last week
for Western Canada where he ex-
pects to spend a month.

hter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. 1. G. Smil-
lie and family in Kamloops, B.C.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reid have
moved into the residence they pur-
chased from Mr, Milton Love and
are getting nicely: settled,
Miscellaneous Shower
Mrs. Geo. Ingram was hostess at
her home on Friday evening for a
miscellaneous shower in honor of
Miss Delphine Jaekr_on, bride -elect
of Tit week. An interesting pro-
gram was followed by the presenta-
tion of many beautiful and useful
gifts. The 'bride made a fitting reply

Flynn ably conducted the devotion-
al period and based her remarks on
the scripture lesson: John 13; 1-17
afterwhich prayer was repeated by
Miss Ellis, Rev. R. A, Brook then
delivered an inspiring message. The
hymn "Take my life and let it be"
and the Mizpah Benediction con-
eluded- the meeting. Mrs. Kyle and
Mrs. Hyde were in charge of the
recreation.
Miss Jean Foster of London spent
the weekend at the home of her par-
ents Mr. and Mrs. A. Foster.
Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Case spent the
weekend with relatives and friends
in London and Port Stanley.
Miss Helen Moir of London was a
weekend visitor at the home of her
brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Baynham.
Miss Ferne Watson of London
was a weekend visitor 'with her
brother-in-law and sister Mr. and
Mrs. W. Riley.
Miss Laura Sangster of London
spent the weekend at her home here.'
