THE SEAFORTH NEWS HENSALL Dunlop -Dalrymple The marriage of Marjorie Anna Leona Dalrymple, youngest daugh- ter of Mrs, ,Bary Dalrymple of Kip - pen and the late Geo. Dalrymple, to Joseph Chas. Dunlop of Kitchener, son of Mr. Robt. Dunlop of Strat- ford, was quietly solemnized at the Kippen United Church manse on Saturday, July 19th, at 2.30 p.m. '-ith Rev. A, Hinton officiating. The bride was charming in street -length gown of ice blue crepe with which she wore white accessories. Her boquet was of red roses and lily -of - the valley. Their only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. 0. Robinson of Detroit. Following the ceremony a luncheon was served at the bride's home. The bride's mother was attired in blue crepe.. After a short trip to the Niagara district the couple will reside in Kitchener, For' travelling the bride chose 0 grey checked suit with black and white accessories and blue top coat. Out- of-town guests were present from Kitchener, London, Stratford and Detroit. Mr, and Mrs. Russe] Love and family of Owen Sound visited this week with Mrs. Love's parents. Mr. and Mrs. John R. McDonald. Miss Margaret Glenn of the staff of the Bank of Montreal is enjoying a two weeks vacation. Rev. P. A, Ferguson conducted the morning service in Carmel Pres- byterian Church on Sunday and Mrs. Wm. Brown contributed a pleasing solo, "The Lord is my Shep- herd." Mr. and Mrs. Earl McEwen of Sarnia visited over the weekend with Mr, and Mrs. A. D. McEwen and Donna. Struck With Lightning While returning home from work. on concession 2. Tuckereniith, on Thursday, Mr. Bert Thomson: son of Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Thomson, highway No. 4, was struck with lightning. as he came through ' the gateway with the team and wagon. Fortunately a neighbour Mr. Ken- neth MacLean was nearby and caught the team and summoned help. Miss Helen Moir of Oakwood, Grand Bend, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Moir.
