John Campbell, a member of a Trappist Order in the United States„ His untimely death was due to a serious operation and resultant complications. He was in his 39th year and was the only son ofMrs. Mary Campbell who moved to Tor- onto about eighteen yeara ago. Father Campbell received his prim- ary and secondary education in Dub- lin Separate and Continuation Schools. He was ordained 6 years ago and resided at the Trappist Monastery near New York. He is survived by his another and two sisters. He was a nephew 'of Paul Mulligan, •Dublin. According to news from Shelby, Montana, the death of Joseph Vin- cent Byrne, occured a Ferdig, Mon- tana: He was a native of this dis- trict, having lived on the farm in Logan township, now owned by John Meagher, and was in his 64th year. He had suffered from a .serious heart condition for several years, be- fore his death. He moved to Mon- tana in 1911, 'homesteading two. miles west of Ferdig' and adjacent to the famous Fulton Rice Oil gush- er lease which later made his home- stead one of the most” valuable hold- ings in the County.
