Town of Seaforth.
All persons in the Municipality 'owning or
harboring dogs must purchase 1947 licenses for
same on or before July lst, 1947. Licenses will be
issued from the Treasurer's Office in the 'Town
Hall, or from the Tax Collector, J. Cummings.
After that date summonses through the
Court will be issued to the owners or harborers of
dogs not having licenses.
All dogs must wear license tags.

Mrs. Martin Lobb was pleasantly
surprised by about fifty of her rela-
tives from Dashwood who came back
Tuesday evening to honor her on
the occasion of her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Hawley of Sea -
forth, Mr. Z. McSpadden, Mr.. and
Mrs. W. E. Hawley, Winthrop, at-
tended the funeral of the late Thom-
as E. Horn of Fort Erie. The de-
ceased was one of a large family
who lived in Winthrop some years
ago. His wife, daughter, six sisters
and two brothers survive. The fun-
eral was conducted by the Rev.
Johnston from Lockhart's funeral
home. Mitchell, with interment in
Woodland cemetery. There was a
large attendance: The flowers were
magn if icerit.
Mr. and Mrs. Z. McSpadden were
in London on Friday last attending
the commencement exercises of The
London Bible Institute, where their
son Bertram was one of the gradu-
ates. Mrs C. Hawley of Seaforth ac-
companied them.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam McSpadden and
family of Richmond Hill spent the
long weekend with their respective
families in the district.
We are sorry to hear of Mrs.
Thomas Wheatley being ill in Sea -
forth Hospital. We wish her a
speedy recovery.
