Carmel Presbyterian Church held
their regular meeting on Monday
evening with the president, Ronald
Bell, in the chair. The meeting
opened by singing "0 Master let me
walk with. Thee," followed by the
Lord's Prayer in unison. The scrip-
ture lesson, psalm 91.was read by
Robert Taylor, The roll call, minutes
and offering was taken up. Rev. P.
A. Ferguson took charge ,of the
Bible Study and .gave an interesting
address on an Outline of the Bible
books in their several divisions. The
stewardship committee -will have
charge of the next meeting. Hymn
"Jesus Saviour Pilot me" was sung.
A contest followed. The meeting
then concluded.by singing "Jesus
Master Whose I Am" after Rev.
Ferguson pronounced the benedic-
tion.
Mrs. William E. Pfaff a life-long
resident of the district passed away
suddenly at her home here on Fri-
day evening in her 61st year. She
was formerly Alice Drover andwas
possessed of a kind and sympathetic
