Mrs. Stevens' was born in i utl'ett township on Dec. 2, 1.868, daughter of the late Thomas l'airseivite, Sr.,' and his wife, Mary Taylor Fairservice. Around the turn of the century she married Daniel R. Stevens who ,predeceased her 'some years ago.' All their life they lived in Hullett'. township, A bout four weeks ago she became ill of a heart condition and was brought to Clinton to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Ashton. She was a life-long member if Burns United Church in Hullett' township and was active in the or_ gam 'tions.' of the church.
