of bad health, two of which were
spent as a helpless invalid, Mrs. Rich-
ard Somers passed peacefully away at
her home here on August 2.5th. She
was the daughter of the late Malcolm
and Ann Campbell, born 81 years ago
on Cape Breton Island.: The family
came to Blyth when she was she years
old. At rite age of 21 she was married
to Richard rd Somers, of Blyth.th. Mr.
Somers predeceased her five years
ago. One sister, Mrs. Christens
Grainger, Seaforth; survives. She eves
a member of Blyth Presbyterian
'Church foe 69 years. There are ten
children living: ':Hugh and Malcolm,
Winnipeg; Dave, \\ringilam; Mrs. E
Ewing, 'Toronto; and John, Robert,
