the Clerk instructed to prepare a by-
law to authorize the 'levy and 'collec-
tion of the assessment in one pay-
ment, The police trustees attended
the meeting filing their requisition for
Police Village rate, An agreement
was also signed by the Reeve and
Inspecting Trustee settling
the am-
ount of deducation allowed the rate-
payers of the Police Village, from the
general township rate, for the year
1927, , it was moved' seconded ,and

carried unanimously that Sunday,
July .'rd,lbe observed as a day of Na-
tional thanksgiving in the Township
in commemoration o'f the sixtieth an-
niversary of Confederation. In ad-
dition to the other duties or the Hall
committee, they were empowered to
provide a suitable table for the Coun-
cil chamber. Orders were issued on
the Treasurer amounting to $1,823.56.

meet again on Monday, the 13th day
