Fire broke out in the basement of
R. J. Pearson's general store at the
village of Ethel on the morning of
the 7th lust, which did considerable
damage to Mr, Pearson's stock in
the store -and contents of Isis dwelling
over the store, also to the brick block
containing the above, owned by Mr.
