TUCKERSMITH.

Messrs. Sillery ant' Pepper of the
2nd concession. had •a number of car
loads of fertilizer delivered to them
last week at lirucelield station, for
their many customers. The merits of
this valuable product have become so
in evidence, especially in the growing
of winter wheat that many tons of
it are going to he used this NM in this
locality.
The Trustees of 11.5. No. 3, with
commendable enterprise, had the
school house nicely painted and dec-
orate(' during the vacation Mr. Nicol
of Sea -forth did the work„ which is a
guarantee that it has been well done.
Mr. James Boyce is at present ope-
rating Iris ditching machine on the
farm of 11r. C. !%laugh, and is doing
excellent work. Mr. Haugh is one of
the most progressive farmers in this
township and is getting .his farm in
