HOCKEY.
Duncan Cup Games, Saturday.
Many fans were disappointed in
hot seeing what might' have been an
exciting game .between the Babies and
Keating's Kids, who .defaulted
through lack of players. A fairly ex-
citing scrub game was played during
which but one goal was scored on
Rennie, The game ended 1.0.
The Pets turned the tables on the
Jugglers to the extent of 5-2, Cum-
mings succeeded in 'bulging the net
3 times while Willis and Edmonds
got the -other two. Willis and Cum-
mings played fine combination.
Hart and Reynolds starred for -the
Jugglers, who scored their goals in
the final period, The score by per-
iods Was 1-0, 4-0, 5-2. The Zine -up:

In a last game of hockey on Tues-
day night, the High School Wossa
tears pulled a 3-2 victory out of the
fire. Every member of the winning
team, which was.. weakened by the
absence of Willis and McMillan,
played like veterans, Muir with two
goals and Montgomery with one,
starred for the Wossa. Barber and
Daly also played well: Aberhart
and Holmes scintillated for Kers-
lake's, scoring a goal apiece. Both
goalers showed up
well under heavy
bombardment. The line-up
Kerslake's.—Goal, Muir; defence,
Knight, Hulley; forwards. Hart,
Holines, Aberhart; subs., Adapts, W.

'Seaforth Wossa, surprised Clinton
H.S. last Friday night when the
local boys ran away on Clinton's own
ice to the tune of 6-3. Playing their
regular team, the Wossa wasahead
throughout. - Very fast hockey, how-
ever; was played by the Clinton boys
led ,by Match. They gave Brownlee
plenty to do throughout. Muir, Wil-
lis and t Barber
r
stood
up well, al-
though no really prominent boy copal
be chosen. The Seaforth line-up,
