FEED STORE BURNED.
The seed and feed store owned and
occupied by Mr, TV. E. Kerslake, on
Main street, was almost completely
destroyed by a fire which broke out
about'5 am. Thursday last,
The cause of the fire is unknown,,
and when the 'fire was discovered- it
had made great headway. As the.
building was of frame construction,
nothing could be clone to save it, and
the firemen deserve great credit for
their work in saving the brick garage
of ?vlr. Regier, which is alongside the
hurried building.
Mr. Kerslake hall some insurance
on the building, but not enough to
rover the loss, as' thebuilding had
been extensively repaired this stint -
mer, and there' was a large stock in
thestore at the time of the fire,in-
chiding a car of corn and a car of
flour, just recently received.
. The fire still smoulders in the ruins
among the Seaforth brethren, and and: the grain, Mr. Kerslake has not
