VETERANS PROTEST

Against boys, young girls and women
wearing badges and symbols
\; lily and Navy in No. I Military
District have sent in a protest to
District Headquarters against the in-
di.scrimate wearing of -tate King's uni-
form in public, also against the weal
without realizing what these articles
represent, The veterans say that the
indiscrimate wearing of these badges
of service tends to belittle the individ-
aul who may alone be allowed to wear
them and adversely reflects on the le-
'eitimate veteran. They ask that the
attention of the public he called to
this matter and their co-operation re-
gttestecl, that the King's uniform may
lie worn by only those that have au-
thority to wear it and only on suit-
able occasions, and -secondly, that the
wearing of serviceltadges, medal rib-
bons, wound stripes, etc., by those
who have not' seen service, cease.
