Finanoial Report for year was read showingreceipts of $375,38, cxpendi• tore $173.01 leaving a balance on hand of $202:37. The books and vouchers had been audited and found correct, During the year receptions were given to all men known to be returning employment found --assistance given. to wives, 'pothers and families of the soldiers in matters of any kind—special attention was given claims for Separ- ation Allowances, Assigned Pay, .Pat- r'iotic Grant & Pensions—all unsettled claims, due to the Act not covering the special -cases on record, however the Act ie to be amended at next Session and these claims disposed of - Weed and coal had been provided and many of the returned men had taken vocational course where almost any trade or calling is taught the men re. ceiving pay during the course. The vocational course is open to all return- ed soldiers and the Branch appeals to the citizens to discourage the sale of oollar buttons etc. by returned men— report all 'inch cages to the Branch at once, thereby doing both the man and the Branch a sincere favor, Skilled instructors appointed to teach the men, various trades, Oolmnerciel Specialists engaged for a complete business education, These institut- ions are now in operation in many. places throughout the country and tine Oommiesiou heartily desire each roan to take advantage of this orportunity !with pay for every day he is taking the course, The report wile unaminouely adopted and the following officers were elected for 1019.
