Soldiers' aid Meeting
The annual meeting of the Seaforth
Branch of the Soldiers' Aid Ootnmission
was held in the Council` Chamber en
Thursday Evening January 16th.
Finanoial Report for year was read

tore $173.01 leaving a balance on hand
of $202:37. The books and vouchers
had been audited and found correct,
During the year receptions were
given to all men known to be returning

Two Seaforth boys were given the
glad hand by old friends on Saturday
when the morning train arrived bring

who have been in France 'since [915.
Both men had been wounded and had
been in English hospitals for some
time. Pte. Holmes ;appeared quite
recovered but Pte, Pi» kney still uses e

Mayor Harburn, Rev 'I', H Brown and
Rev. Mr. Moyer gave addreeees of wel•
come and the medal pinned on by Mr
Sutherland,
Pte Pinkney was marrie,i on Dec. 2
in England to Miss Hilda Samson who
will come to Canada in February,
