solo, entitled, -God Will Take Care
of You," was beautifully rendered by
Mrs. C. Fingland. The pallbearers

well, Fred Ennis and F. H, \Miller.
Interment was made in Cranbrook
cemetery.

Clinton had talcett a severe stroke and

7 'held on afternoon of Dec. 2tlat, was
well attended. An excellent program.
consisting of recitations, dialogues,
action songs, Irish dance, guitar mu-
sic, patriotic drill and pantomime;"the
first Noel," was enjoyed by all. Mr,
W. Beacons ably acted as chairman,
highly complimenting teacher and
pupils, The various costumes were
also much admired. An attractive dis-
play of gifts prepared by Junior Red
Cross of this school for distributing
among the needy ahildren proved
very interesting. Several contributed
to this worthy cause at the close of.
the program.
On 'Thursd'ay afternoon, December
21st,' the `pupils and 'teacher's of S.
S. No. 6, 'Hullett, had a very enjoy-
able Christmas social. It took the
place of the regular meeting of the
Literary Society, The President,
Watson Reid, acted as chairman.
The roll call was the name of a de-
sired Christmas gift. An interesting
programme was given consisting of
recitations by the junior pupils, a
motion song, a monologue, several
mouth organ selections, also a num-
ber of songs given by groups of the
