On, Sunday at the morning service Rev. Mr. Howard, of Arcola, Sask., told of the great need in the West. Rev. Mr. Howard comes from a sec- tion of the West where they have had no crops for a few years and this year the grasshoppers in June stripped the trees of their leaves. A few weeks ago an appeal was made to the women of the congrega- tion and asking the community for new clothing or goad second hand clothing for the West..
