'held their regular meeting on Thurs-
day afternoon with the 'president ill
•charge. The meeting was opened with
silent prayers, after which the Lord's
prayer was repeated in unison. A
hymn was then sung and Mrs. Henry
led in prayer, foliolwed by a solo by
Mrs. Alice, Joynt. "Only a Beam of
Sunshine," anid a piano solo by' Miss
(Eleanor Fisher. A letter of alp'precfa-
ti'on was read from Mrs. Swam, thank-
ing the ladies for the fl'o'wers sent her
during her illness, The Bible lesson

McDonald, after which a solo, "All

spent a few days with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. D. Foss.

Fort 'Lauderdale, Florida, to spend the
rest of the season with her parentis,

John and Ben Pearson left for Har-
bor Springs, Mich., E. Featherston
taking therm by auto. Mr. Pearson,
their father, died there about a'week
before Christmas. Wea'the'r conditions
prevented John and Ben attending the
funeral.
