The play, `Lena !Rivers," at the
;town hall, Tuesd'ay'evetin'g, put on, by
the Gould Dr'a'matic Company of Mit-
chell, given under the atrs'pices of the
Bayfield Agricultural Society .wa's well
performed and reflects much credit
on those taking part and was much
enjoyed by all present. The !Lindsay
orchestra, James Lindsay, George
!Little, Milton. !Pollock and ,Mos. J.
Parker, played between tete ants 'and
were generous with their music. Mr.
IRehor sang'a'couple of songs in go'od
voice and was accompanied on the
piano by .Miss' Mabel ,Sootchmer. Af-
ter the play a number remained and

The president, Carl Diehl, called the

rural dean urged the forming .of a
deanery ,A.Y,IP .A. council. 'Rev. K.
McGoen offered the use of St. Paul's

the conference.

the edification period. ,Miss Margaret

'John M'nCrae and recited his',famons
poem, "In Flander's Fields." Rev,
Mr. Pocock gave a talk on. 'Rem'em-
bilanice Day and brought some of the
memories of that day fourteen years
ago and all that it meant 181 the
world.
The Clinton Branch took the social
period and under the leadership Of
Miss Cudmorc several .interesting

On Friday evening a :nunnlber of

the spacious din'in'g hall of the Crem-
mercial hotel where a farewell sup-
per was ten'd'ered Mr. David E. Ken-

Bank .olf Oommerce, prior to his de-
parture for Toronto. After Partaking

the 'evening was spent in 'apeeeh and
