The regular monthly meeting of

a verse containing the word "hope."
Mrs. R. P. Watson. •gave a very inter-
esting report of the Centre Se'ctio'n
m'eeting held in Winthrop, Mrs: Brem-
ner spoke on Muss M'artin's work in
'India. The temperance lesson, "Why
I do' not ,to'u'gh wine," was given- by
Mrs. Hazlewood (Mis's Murdoch, lead-
er of group No 10, then 'took the
chair. Two verse's Of hymn ,No. 5 were
then sung. The d'e'votional leaflet,
"Dorcas, this Woman Who (Was Al -
Ways Wanted," wa's read by Mrs. Ad-
dison. The topic taken from :the new
study book, His D'ainini'on of Cana-
da, was in (Charge of the leader, as-
