Mr. Fred Brock of Tuckersmith visited on Monday with relatives in town. The W.MIS. of the .United Church held their regular meeting on Thurs- day afternoon last. 'After the opening• exercises and business discussed an instrumental was given by Mrs. Ed- gar Stewart followed by readings by Mrs. S. Merner and Mr. A. McDon- ald. The visiting committee reported on making 12 calls on sick and shut- ins. Mrs. Spencer and Mrs. :McDon- ald were appointed visiting commit- tee for next month. The !CjG2:T. Club attended a ban- quet in Seaforth Friday night. Services in our local churches were well attended on ,Sunday last. At the United Church Rev. Arthur Sinclair had charge of the services. The death occurred Wed'nes'day, Nov. 2,nd, in his 79th year, at his home in McGillivray Township, after a short illness. Mr..
