Presentation. ---On Thursday even-
ing a number of neighbors gathered at
the home of 'l:Ir. and Mrs. Peter O'-
Sullivan to bid them farewell and in
the course of the evening the follow-
ing address was read by Mr. Jos.
Kale and a purse presented by Mr.
Thos. Feeney. The address follows:
"To Mr. and Mrs. P. A. O'Sullivan
and Miss Mang. Dear friends,-1Wle
have assembled here on the eve of
your departure for your new home to
express our deep regret at your leav-
ing the old line and also to exeend our
best wishes for your welfare and hap-
eeness in your new home. Every dark
cloud has a silver lining and to us the
bright spot in this cloud is the fact
that you have chosen to Still reside in
the parish where we ca.n still retain
our old companionship. As fall the
lot of any community there are times
of 'gl'adn'este as well as sorrow and we
wash to say that in either case Peter
A. ,and his estimable wife were always
(frost to celebrate any joyful event and
!first to comfort those in distress, We
will miss your kind hospitality and as
a neighbor you were everything the
word implies. If there were lacks on
your doors you must have thrown
a'w'ay the keys as we always found
your door open and there was about
your home that cherished old atmo-
sphere which always spelled eve1'com'e.
As a very slight token of the esteem
in which you are held we ask you to
accept this purse and again we wish
you everything that's good in your
new home and .remember "Hill street"
will m'is's you. Signed on behalf of
your neighbors." After a 'lunch had
been served cards and dancing were
indulged in until the wee small h,onns
and all left after an enjoyable evening
wishing Mr. and Mrs. t0 Sullivan the
