Presentation. ---On Thursday even- ing a number of neighbors gathered at the home of 'l:Ir. and Mrs. Peter O'- Sullivan to bid them farewell and in the course of the evening the follow- ing address was read by Mr. Jos. Kale and a purse presented by Mr. Thos. Feeney. The address follows: "To Mr. and Mrs. P. A. O'Sullivan and Miss Mang. Dear friends,-1Wle have assembled here on the eve of your departure for your new home to express our deep regret at your leav- ing the old line and also to exeend our best wishes for your welfare and hap- eeness in your new home. Every dark cloud has a silver lining and to us the bright spot in this cloud is the fact that you have chosen to Still reside in the parish where we ca.n still retain our old companionship. As fall the lot of any community there are times of 'gl'adn'este as well as sorrow and we wash to say that in either case Peter A. ,and his estimable wife were always (frost to celebrate any joyful event and !first to comfort those in distress, We will miss your kind hospitality and as a neighbor you were everything the word implies. If there were lacks on your doors you must have thrown a'w'ay the keys as we always found your door open and there was about your home that cherished old atmo- sphere which always spelled eve1'com'e.
