STANLEY.
There passed away at Winnipeg on
(Sunday, April' 24th, a former resident
.of 'Stanley in the person of Robert
,McKinley, eldest sonof the late Jahn
and Mrs, McKinley. He was born on
the MdKfnley farm on the Goshen
line' 78 years ago. He was united' in
marriage to. Miss MdDonald of May -
'field and they settled on a farm near
ISeaforth where they continued to re-
side till a few years ago when they
sold the farm and retired in Seaforth.
They had one son Jahn, who has bean
living in Winnipeg forA some years,
and about two years ago they went to
live with hint. Mr. McKinley has not
'been in good health for two r three
years as the result of a fall, therefore
his death was not unex'pe'cted. Hes re-
mains were brought home for burial
and were laid to rest on Saturday in
the family plot in Bayfield cemetery.
Next Sunday Mother's Day will be
'gbserved in our dhurohes. Rev. E. A.

ligion"

Obituary.
Mr. and Mrs. Wnu. M'I'dDougall of
Egmondvele mount the death of. their
second daughter.- Miss . -1Largaret,.
which occurred at ` the hospital in
Quebec city from a'ppend'icitis. She
had only 'been' in the city for a few
monlehs having gone' there about the
first of March, where she held the
'position of milliner. The deceased was
a young woman in the prime of life
and her early•demise is deeply regret-
ted by all who knew her.'The re-
mains were;. brought to her,home on
(Sunday, where after a s'h'ort service
held on Monday the 'body was remov-
ed to the , Egmontidville church, the
services at both places being conduct-
ed by the pastor, Rev. Neil. Shaw. In-
terment took place to the' Maitland

The people of the village were
shocked ,on 'Sunday morning when the
news spread from one to another off
the death of Mr. Patrick Judge who
died in Detroit. Mr. Judge ran the
Dominion H'o'tel here for a few years.
The funeral of Mr. Judge was held
at Detroit on Tuesday morning.
Mr. G. K. Holland is net improving
as fast as his friends would like him
to. -

on by Hobbies Company of Toronto.

flock. IIn many flocks there is an av-
erage of two Iambs to a ewe, or two
