Don't forget the exhibition game to -night. at 8;30 between the Ingersoll Frigi- daires and Seaforth Bosharts. This game should be of high calibre as the teams are evenly matched. The Seaforth Fawns played an ex- hibition softball, game in Atwood on Tuesday night and defeated the At- wood girls` 33.3. This is Atwood's first year in ladies softball and the team is not of the highest calibre. More practise and another year in softball should make Atwood into a winning team. * * * a: The Bosharts downed the Listowel nine by a close score of 5-4. The game was Listowel's until the 7th in- ning when Seaforth scored three runs to go out in front by one run, the margin which they held when both teams failed to score any more runs, Listowel AB R H PO A F Pratt, 3h 4 0 1 0 1 1 Colquhoun, 1f 4 0 1 1 0 0 D. What caused Brussels to arrive for a 7:00 o'clock encounter is not ex= actly known. On arriving at Lions Park, the visitors were informed that it was floodlight game. With this information at hand the Brus- sels team and management refused to play and returned hone. Tory Gregg was quoted as ruling the frame as a floodlight affair. At 9:00 o'clock the umpire called t1i game, as the Seaforth Fawns fielded a team, and then waited the 15 -minute time limit before calling the game and awarding it to Sea - forth. We are on Canada's Main Street —that great business highway which takes in cities, towns, villages, and even many outpost communities from coast to coast. On this thoroughfare we are in the company of all classes who work hard and contribute much to Canada's prosperity. We count it a privilege to serve them daily and to assist in the attainment of their goals. We know of no higher ambition than to continue to serve the people on Canada's Great Main Street.'
