Bride -Elect Honored
A nun fiber of neighbors and
friends gathered at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey Craig on. Monday
evening to honor Miss Olda William-
son, bride -elect. Contests and games
were enjoyed during the evening.
Mrs. Mark Hamilton invited the
bride -elect to a prettily decorated
chair and Gloria Carter' and Mona
Clark, nieces of the bride, brought
in a well laden basket of many use-
ful gifts. Mrs. Mark Hamilton read
the following address.
Dear Olda:—A. little bluebird of
happiness told us that you are about
to•enter into the holy bonds of matri-
mony in the near future. While your
duties have called you away from
_our group the last few years, we still
hold you as one of us. We hope the
future will bring much happiness and
many blessings your way. As a token
of our best wishes for a happy wedd-
ed life we ask you to accept these
gifts.
There's a happy time to marriage,
But to every man and wife,
Also, may come some hurts and sor-
ows
And a taste of bitterness of life.
It is by these your faith is tested;
It is by these your love will grow;
And our prayer is
Love will guard you wherever you
may go.
Signed by the 17th Boundary
East group.
Olda thanked her friends in a few
well chosen words and lunch was
served.
