Mrs, James Finlayson has just re-
ceived a parcel mailed to her. from
Ilov+ell, Mich., at Christmas tune,
There were to postmarks on the
parcel, but it is believed to have re-
posed in some customs ' office all
this time.
Mrs. James Finlayson and Mrs.
John McGregor went to Mrs. Wal-
lace Haugh's on Tuesday of this
week as guests of Seaforth W.I.
The Salvation Army and of Tor-
onto played at Egmondville on Sun-
day evening on the church lawn.

Mrs. Robert Jamieson, Jim and
Lois, also Mr. and Mrs. Art Colson,
visited last week with Mr. and Mrs.

very pleasant day Saturday, June 7.1

Stratford Hospital. We wish hint a

with the former's son Mr Vincent
Dittmer and Mrs. Dittmer at Wing -
ham.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eisler of Sea-
forth with Mr. and Mrs. Manuel
Beuermann.
Mr. and Mrs. George Mogk and Miss
Nancy Mogk spent the week end at
Hamilton at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Berry.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller and son
David of Galt with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Mervin Miller for the week
end.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Barber and Shin. -
lee Anne of Guelph with Mr. and Mrs.
John G. Hinz. Mr. and Mrs. Hinz,
Maureen and Winnifred, accompanied
Mr. and Mrs. Barber to Port Elgin
and Southampton on Sunday.

Sunday morning. Moving pictures will
be shown on Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Parke and
Betty and Kenneth are on a vacation
trip by motor to Montana.
Mr. and Mrs. Robb of near Am-
berley, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy
McBride and family on Sunday.
Miss Phyllis McBride of Brucefield
spent the weekend and Monday with
her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Martindale and
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ducharme spent
a day in Port Huron and Sarnia.
Mrs. Hamlyn, who spent several
days visiting at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Bancroft, returned to her
home in London again.
Mr. Robert Munn of near Hensall
purchased the shed at the Blake
Church on Tuesday evening and has
it all down and away.
Mr. Wm. Clark visited his mother
in 'Goderich on Sunday.

Pastrious of Windsor, visited during
the past week with Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Slavin and Miss Elizabeth Sla-

Miss Ellen Bell has accepted a
position at the Bank of Montreal.
Mrs. James Mustard
Mrs, James Mustard, formerly
Jessie MacGrogm, passed away at
her home on Saturday, June 11 fol-
lowing a lengthy illness. Surviving is
her husband, one son Janes and one
daughter (Blanche) Mrs, _Malcom
Dou'iirll, Hensall: two brother's, John
MacGregor, Hensel]: William Mac-
Gregor, Ripper: two sisters, Miss
MacGregor and Mrs. Petrie, Toron-
to. Funeral service was held from the
late residence on Tuesday, conducted
by Rev. P. A. Ferguson. Inter•nlent in
Exeter Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Pearson of Tor-
onto were weekend visitors with the
latter's. mother, Mrs. Annie Saund-
ercock.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Scholl and
Garry visited recently with relatives
at Monkton.
Wohelo Class
The Wohelo Class of the United
Church is holding its annual picnic
at Seaforth Lions Park on Friday
evening, June 24th. All former 'class
members, children and guests are
cordially invited to attend. Bring
your picnic basket. You are asked to
meet -at the church any time from
5:30 to f o'clock Friday, June 24th
where those having cars will be
waiting to arrange transportation.
The enjoyment of this gathering
depends on your attendance.

family visited recently in Michigan.
Master Keith Anderson and Shar-
on McBride had their tonsils remov-
ed in Clinton Hospital on Thursday
last.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Parsons, Har-
old and Donnie spent Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Linden.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Gackstetter
spent Sunday last with relatives in
Toronto.
Dr. James Jarrott of New,York
City, visited recently with his other

week for Mr. and Mrs. Norman Shep-
herd, Wilma and Phyllis as the form-

Mrs. Leo Watt and Jessie were in
London on Saturday in company with
Mrs. Haddy of Clinton.
Mrs. A. W. McEwing recently had
a few days visit in Detroit with hex
sister-in-law and husband. Formerly
Mrs. Joseph -Campbell of Walton.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Colson mo-
tored the beginning of last week to
State College, Pen., U.S.A. to visit
her sister Hazel, and husband. They
returned 'home Saturday.
Mr. Leo Watt, Donald, Jim and
Bobby and Mr. Isaac Watson spent
Saturday afternoon at Centralia.
They .said there was a large' crowd
and very warm.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Knox and
children spent the weekend in `Tor
onto.
INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE
On Monday evening the Main Street
Industrial team defeated the Foundry
'team by a score of 9-8, This. year's
Industrial League consists of Bosh,.
arts, Duncans, Foundry, and Main
Street teams. Watch for the schedule
next week.
