Dance Gang Will be playing on St. Patrick's Nite MARCH 17th Looby's Hall DUBLIN DANCING 10 - 1 A.M. Dear Editor:— In January '27th edition of the Seaforth News was a notice, by the Maple Leaf Dairy concerning an in- crease of one cent per quart on milk. It stated that this increase was due to the increased cost to pro- ducers. Being a milk producer my- self, I wish to refute this statement and let/the general public know the truth in the matter. The producers have, received an increase of 10 cents per 100 ]b of milk in some districts. This amounts to 14 cent per quart making the total price to producers about 10 cents per quart. According to their notice the Maple 'Leaf Dairy has put 100% of the blame for increased price on the producer. Actually the producer only shares 25% of the increase. Perhaps the Maple Leaf Dairy could explain the reason for the other '75% of the increased cost to con- sumer. A Milk Producer.
