The monthly meeting of the Hen-
sall institute will be 'held in the
United Church Sunday School room
on Wednesday night Feb. 9th, Mrs.
Sherlit and Mrs. Cross are in charge
of the arrangements. Roll call, a
cure for the blues. Mrs. Middleton
will favor with a talk on "child
care'. Mrs. H. Faber will give a
demonstration, Mrs. Dennison will
also speak at this meeting. Plan to
attend this interesting event.
On Monday night, February 14th
the Evening Auxiliary meeting takes
place at the home of Mrs. Dennison
who will be assisted by Miss Jean
Brandon. The devotional exercises
will be presented by Mrs. Maude
Redden. Mrs. Mary Buchanan will
give the missionary item, Mrs. Lit-
lian Hyde will deal with the study

ing with the former's sisters, Mrs.
Adams and Mrs. Chapman.
Mr. T. C. Joynt left by aeroplane
on Monday for Florida where he will
spend several weeks in the interest
of his health.
Mr. Frank Peart received word
last week of the sudden death of his
brother-in-law Mr. David R. Mc
:Mary, who passed away at his home
in London, on Wednesday in his
67th year. 6
Mr. Floyd Adair received word of
the sudden death of his father, Free-
man R. Adair, who passed away sud-
denly with a heart attack at his home
in Lucan on Friday. Funeral service
was held on 'Monday, Jan. 81st. In-
terment in St. James' Cemetery,
Cl andeboye.
Dr. D. G. Steer, Mrs. Steer and
Patricia arrived in London, Ont., on
Thursday, Jan. 27 after spending ;Ile
pass; two years in England and Scot-
land where the former took a course
in surgery at the Hospital in Edin-
burgh, Scotland..
