A quiet wedding was solemnized at
• the Anglican Rectory, Mitchell, when
Rev, M. A. Mint united in marriage
Audrey Pearl, youngest daughterof
Ml'. anti Mrs. Milton Russell; Hensall,
and Donald Cleveland Joynt, younger
son of Mr. T, C. "Joynt, Hensall, and
the late Mrs. Joynt. The bride wore
a grey . tailored suit with snatching
accessories and " corsage ' of lilies.
Following a luncheon at Listowel the
bride and groom left on a trip to
Sudbury, North Bay and Manitoulin
Island. They will -reside in Hensen:
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kennedy and
family are holidaying at the home of
the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Kennedy, at Lindsay.
Mr. and Mrs, Harry Lawrence spent
the week end with relatives in Detroit.
Mrs, Lorne McNaughton, Barbara
and Willa and Misses Helen Mc-
Naughton and Winnifred Stewart of
Toronto are holidaying at Grand Bend,
Mr. Roy Soldan, Mrs. Soldan,
Mrs. Elsie Case and Mrs. Melvin
Moir returned home last week from
a pleasant trip to Saskatoon, Sask.,
and other places in the West.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Perley and
Sherrill of Windsor, visited recently
with the former's aunts, Mrs. Cath-
arine Devlin and firs. Edna Cor-
bett and members of the family.
Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Case spent the
-weekend with the latter's parents
Mr. and Mrs. J. Reid, in London.
Mr.and Mrs. Wm. Simpson and
family of Detroit have been holiday-
ing with the former's mother Mrs.
Lou Simpson.

sition on the staff of the Bank of
Montreal.
