MISS GERTRUDE THOMPSON
Funeral services for Miss Gert-
rude, Thompson were held Monday
at her home on Isaac St., Clinton.
Miss Thompson suffered a heart
spasm on July 13, from which she
never recovered. She died last Fri-
day afternoon, in her 82nd year.
Born on Sept. 30, 1866 on the Hay-
field road, Miss Thompson moved to
Clinton in 1914 and had resided

two brothers, Bob and Harry of

Perth County request for the sum
of $19,595.38 was considered. A
mill rate of 6.862 will be required
to raise the said sum. The Clerk was
authorized to enter said rate on
Collector's Roll. Requisition from
the Secretary, Mitchell High School
was considered, asking for the sum
of $3,233.41. A mill rate to meet
this amount, of 1.16 will be required
to be levied and collected from the
High, School Area. Public general
rate will be 2.68 mills in the Public
School Area.
