day Brussels defeated Walton 9.4
Seaforth Fawns defeated Auburn 19-6 last
Thursday. Here is a summary of the game

Umpires: A. Hubert, J. Jones, Seaforth,
Saturday evening the Fawns defeated Wal-
ton 12-11 in a very hard-fought game. In
the first innings Mrs. V. Cornish received an
injury to her right eye and was replaced by
Mrs. L. Hoff, who had not played with the
Fawns before. Watson for Walton struck out
15 and walked 4; while Foster for Seaforth
struck out only 4 and walked none.

The Brussels girls stand at the top of the
WOAA Ladies Softball League. The Walton
girls and the Seaforth Fawns are tied for
second place while Blyth and Auburn stand
respectively in third and fourth place,
The Auburn girls have given the Fawns
a win for the game scheduled for July 28.
The Fawns have one game with Brussels on
July 26 and a postponed game with the Blyth
nine.
BASEBALL
JUVENILE OBA BASEBALL
In a scheduled OBA Baseball game played
in Hensall Wednesday evening the Seaforth
Red Sox held Hensall to a 17 all tie. The
Red Sox were defeated by Hensall earlier in
the season.
The Stalin nine will play the Seaforth Red
Sox tonight at 6.30 at the Recreation grounds
H. F. A. FOOTBALL
On Friday evening, despite the inclement
weather, the first game of the HFA play-ofrs
was held at Walton. The 5t. Columhan eleven
won this game 4-2
Monday night game. Brussels at Winthrop,
score 1-1 tie.
Tuesday night, return game, Walton at
St. Columbnn, no score, tie.

day Brussels defeated Walton 9.4
Seaforth Fawns defeated Auburn 19-6 last

Umpires: A. Hubert, J. Jones, Seaforth,
Saturday evening the Fawns defeated Wal-
ton 12-11 in a very hard-fought game. In
the first innings Mrs. V. Cornish received an
injury to her right eye and was replaced by
Mrs. L. Hoff, who had not played with the
Fawns before. Watson for Walton struck out
15 and walked 4; while Foster for Seaforth
struck out only 4 and walked none.

The Brussels girls stand at the top of the
WOAA Ladies Softball League. The Walton
girls and the Seaforth Fawns are tied for
second place while Blyth and Auburn stand
respectively in third and fourth place,
The Auburn girls have given the Fawns
a win for the game scheduled for July 28.
The Fawns have one game with Brussels on
July 26 and a postponed game with the Blyth
nine.
BASEBALL
JUVENILE OBA BASEBALL
In a scheduled OBA Baseball game played
in Hensall Wednesday evening the Seaforth
Red Sox held Hensall to a 17 all tie. The
Red Sox were defeated by Hensall earlier in
the season.
The Stalin nine will play the Seaforth Red
Sox tonight at 6.30 at the Recreation grounds
H. F. A. FOOTBALL
On Friday evening, despite the inclement
weather, the first game of the HFA play-ofrs
was held at Walton. The 5t. Columhan eleven
won this game 4-2
Monday night game. Brussels at Winthrop,
score 1-1 tie.
Tuesday night, return game, Walton at
St. Columbnn, no score, tie.
