Miss Helen VVicNaughton of Tor- onto spent the ' weekend with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Lorne Mc- Naughton. Mrs, John McEwen'. spent the weekend in Toronto with her brother Mr. Glenn Love and attended a banquet for Miss Barbara Ann Scott. Mr. Bruce Glenn of the O.A.C., Guelph, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Glenn The Arnold Circle Evening Auxil- iary will hold their Easter thankoff- ering meeting at the home of Mrs. Harold Bonthroil, on Monday, March 22, when Mrs. Rev, D. G. Lane of Clinton will be the special speaker. BRUCEFIELD The Brueefield Y,P,TJ•. held a St. Patrick's social, Monday evening with Goshen Y.P.U. as their guests. A number of games were played and enjoyed by all. A short devotional period was opened by hymn 164. Blanche Zaphe read the - scripture, then Cora Taylor led us in prayer. The meeting was closed by hymn 112 and the Mizpah Benediction. Lunch was enjoyed by all. NORTH McKILLOP Misses Mildred, Wilma and Car- metta McNichol spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Olive Mc- Nichol. Mrs. Joseph Thornton is spending some time with her parents in Wat- erloo who are both under the doct- or's care. The W. A. and W.M.S. are hold- ing their Easter thankoffering meet- ing at the home of Mrs. Leslie Bolt- on, on April 1st. We are sorry to report that Ed- ward Regele is in bed under the doc- tor's care. Mrs. Leonard Learning entertained :1 number of ladies last week to a \V A. quilting. Mr. and Mrs. John Glanville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glanville and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Regele spent one even- ing last week with Mr, and Mrs. Her- man Axtmann.
