that never
ends...
THE TALE your Telephone, .Directory tells is
never finished. Year after year more names are
added, more people whom you can call, and who
can call you. Right now we're busy with unfilled
orders ... adding still more telephones just as fast
as materials become available.
More people are using their telephones more
often. Our constant aim is to make the service
better, too, better in every way.
More telephones ... better service ... and
always at the lowest possible cost. It all adds up to
greater value for every telephone user.

THE VEIN proves rich, a shaft is sunk, and a
new mining town springs into life. The main
street takes form. Commercial buildings rise.
When such a development occurs, the services
of a bank are needed — to handle payrolls, to
keep savings accounts and, as the town grows,
to furnish bank credit for the needs of the
community.
This is a basic pattern in Canada's develop-
ment. And part of it is the local bank manager,
providing those, financial services which help
Canadian men and women to win the rewards
of modern enterprise and modern living.
