ADULT FELLOWSHIP GROUP
The Adult Fellowship Group of
•Northside Unitech Church held their
Xmas meeting on Monday night
Dec 15th, Mr. John Stevens, Presi-
dent, was in the chair and opened
the meeting by singing '0 Come all
ye faithful". Rev. Mr. Workman led.
in prayer and minutes of Nov. Meet-
ing* were read by Tom Wilbee, 'act-
ing secretary. Following the busi-
ness period Rev. Mr. Workman in-
stalied the new officers for 1948.
Christtnas stories were read by Mrs.
Alvin Riley and Miss Kay .Sillery.'
Different scripture passages were,
taken by Mrs. 'Turnbull, Bob 'Knight;
and Charlie Wood wth Christmas
carols sung alternately accompanied
by Miss Olga Hoare at the,' piano
and Miss Audrey Hall on the violin.
The meeting closed by repeating the
Mizpah Benediction. A delicious
lunch was served by the social corn-
mittee. Games, contests were con-
ducted by Tom' Wilbee and were
much enjoyed. The following offi-
cers have been elected for 1948.

A very interesting and pleasant
evening was spent in Winthrop hall
on Wednesday evening last when
two newly -married couples were
honored, namely, Mr._ and Mrs. Os-
car Cuthill and Mr. and Mrs. Austin
Dolmage. Dancing was enjoyed to
Stewart McCall's orchestra. Later in
the evening each of the brides was
presented with a sewing cabinet, and
the grooms with smoking stands.
Mrs, James Hogg read the address
to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Cuthill, and
Robert McClure and Arthur Alex-
ander presented the gifts. Mr. Ken-
neth Betties read the ,address to Mr.
and Mrs. Austin Dolmage and E.
Haase and Allan Campbell :made the
presentation. The brides and grooms
passed wedding cake to all the
guests. •
