The Late Mrs. Hagan.—One of the few remaining of an earlier genera- tion, passed away at her home on the Parr Line, Hay township, on Sunday evening, Sep'tennber 6th, 19'3.1, in the person of the late Anne Hagan, wife of the late James Hagan. The deceas- ed had been in her usual health until a few weeks ago and with the great ad- vance.of her age she passed peacefully away in the ripe age of nearly 89 years, The funeral was held from her late residence on Wednesday morning at 9.30 to the R:C, Church in Zurich of which the deceased was a devoted member. Rev, Father Power of Zur- ich conducted' the service. Those left to mourn the loss of a kind mother are: Five sons and five daughters and ane son, Dr. Edward, who predeceas- ed her s✓me years ago. Those re- maining at home are Miss Dolly and Frank, Mother Angela of Chatham; Mrs. Clark of Detroit; Dr, John and 'Dr. Lawrence. of Chicago; Miss Mary of London; James, of Seaforth; Pe- ter of Portland, Oregon, and' Mrs, Big'dby, of Seattle.
