The W.113, of the United Church
held their meeting on Thursday af-
ternoon, entertaining the W.M.S. of
the Chisethurst Church. The meet-
• ing was opened by repeating the
,Lord's ,prayer, .followed by the min-
utes, roll call, hymn andcollection,
after which an instrumental was given
• by Miss Flossie Foss. The temper-
ance leaflet on Youth and Liquor was
read, by .Mrs. Wm. Dougall. Miss
Greta Lammie rendered.,a very pleas-
ing violin solo accompanied by Miss
Eleanor Fisher on the piano, after
which a ladies' quartette was given by
Miss G. Leinmieo Mrs: G. Hese, Mrs.
joyat and Mrs. Diryseale. The Leaf-
lets on "Thinkingl Peace," was read
by Mrs. ,MoDonnell; "League of Na-
tions," Mrs, Coles., The study, "His-
torical RevieW of !Christian Work in
japan," was rea44 by Mrs. Merner,
Mrs; A. Munn and Miss A. Moore,
after which the meeting closed with
a hymn and benediction. Following
this a lunch was served by the lad-
ies. Mrs. Cudmore, president of the
Chiselhurst Society, in a few words,
expressed her thanks and Pleasure at
being entertained by the Hensall So-
ciety.
The W.M.S. of the Carmel Presby-
terian Church will hold their thank -
offering meeting on Monday, Nov.
17. A pageant, "The Challenge of
Op,fortunity" will be presented and
Mrs. Gauld, a Missionary from For-
mosa, will address the congregation.

at Seebach Hill early Tuesday morn-
ing when two cars side-swiped.

known as John Wilson Reid; de-

persons having claims against the
estate of John W. Reid, also known
as John Wilson Reid, late of the Vil-
lage of Varna in the County of Hu-
ron, Retired Farmer, deceased, wilio
died on or about the nineteenth day
of July A.D. 1030, are required to
deliver to Charles Reid and Thomas
Witmer Reid, the Executors of the
said estate or F. Finland, Solicitor,
on or before the 17th day of Novem-
ber A.D. 1930, a full statement of
their claims together with particulars
thereof, and the nature of the se-
curities, if any, held by them, all
duly verified by affidavit.
AND TAKE NOTICE that after
the last mentioned date the said 'Exe-
cutors will proceed to distribute the
estate of the said deceased amongst
the persons entitled thereto having
regard only to such claims as shall
have received due notice and in ac-
cordance therewith.
